22% Off Uber Eats (Use Up to 3 Times Through August 1)

The food delivery business is ultra-competitive. There isn’t a single dominant player, and there are several. That’s great for consumers as well-funded companies slug it out.

Uber Eats doesn’t offer delivery from every restaurant. Instead it only works with restaurants that opt into using their app. However I find that their delivery tends to be faster than the other services I’ve used, at least in Austin and in DC.

However Uber Eats has gotten more expensive since they’ve split up their delivery fee and service fee. Now their ‘delivery fee’ is lower, but they add 15% onto the total order as a service charge. On net the cheapest orders are probably less expensive than before, but larger orders are more costly.

Fortunately there’s a limited-time promotion that will put you ahead of the game: Open the Uber Eats app and add promo code GETFED322. It should add itself three times to your list of promotions, each one good for 22% off your entire order through August 1.

A 22% discount is the best promo code I’ve seen in quite awhile for Uber Eats. Happy eating over the next week!
