The author of the piece on Google is correct: Google reviews is rising, and Tripadvisor is declining. Tripadvisor is basically “dead” for restaurant reviews already. They probably will survive (at least for awhile) on hotel reviews because of the quantity on the platform already and the fact that their reviews tend to be more detailed.
