  2. For those in the railroad industry and aware of the role Delta’s ex-CEO Richard Anderson is playing as a disrupter to tank Amtrak’s National Network (but for the Northeast Corridor), the news of cardboard boxes improvised as a portable potty on that disabled Acela train, lit up the internet.

    Under Anderson, two long distance trains lost their dining cars, which were replaced by “Contemporary Dining” (a/k/a boxed cold meals).

    The immediate thought throughout the industry was if Amtrak intended to recycle those potty boxes back as contemporary dining…
