The Joys of Flying Standby, Set to Bohemian Rhapsody

This is just brilliant, you’re going to want to share this with anyone you know that works for an airline or their friends and family who travel on passes.

It begins,

This is the SWALife
This is my chance you see
Booked on a guest pass
With SWAG points from my Uncle Steve

SWAG (“Southwest Airlines Gratitude”) points are employee recognition points at Southwest Airlines which can be used for travel passes, Rapid Rewards points, gift cards, merchandise, etc. Employees earn points in a variety of ways, such as perfect attendance. The program replaced buddy passes six years ago and over a billion SWAG points are printed each year.

  1. Gary why does your website never finish loading? I can have multiple tabs open or just one and your loading bar spins forever, even when all others have stopped. It’s annoying but I’m also curious as to whether something is running in the background re data collection?

  2. @Matt. This has been bothering me also. Happens on Chrome but not on edge. All sorts of messages at the bottom of the screen.
    “Waiting for extension Adblock Plus”
    “Waiting for vap5sfo1lijit.com”
    something about Twitter once.
