Yesterday There Was Another Lion Air 737 Incident Following Last Week’s Crash

A week after the tragic crash of Lion Air flight JT610 on October 29 another Lion Air Boeing 737 has had an incident this time crashing into a pole while taxiing out to the runway for takeoff from Bengkulu to Jakarta.

The crash caused the Boeing 737-900’s wing to tear. No passengers or crew were hurt. Another aircraft and crew were assigned to the flight which departed about four and a half hours late.

Oddly Benkulu, Indonesia was the sight of a separate incident I wrote about yesterday.

Comments

  1. I won’t be flying this airline if they fly with a broken wing! Are they a member of One World, Sky Team or Star Alliance?

  2. The article clearly says another AIRCRAFT and CREW were assigned to the flight.
