Four Bizarre New Tales From Airlines This Week

All four of these items came to my attention yesterday. On. The. Same. Day. It is apparently not just politics were we live in interesting times.

  1. EgyptAir’s inflight magazine ran an interview with Drew Barrymore. And… umm… (HT: One Mile at a Time)

It is known that Barrymore has had almost 17 relationships, engagements and marriages; psychologists believe that her behavior is only natural since she lacked the male role model in her life after her parents’ divorce when she was only 9 years old.

Meanwhile here’s Drew Barrymore in a nice, wholesome airplane scene.

  2. You can get in trouble for trying to use an overhead bin to do pull ups. American Airlines, apparently, doesn’t believe in physical fitness which is odd considering the weight loss programs they’ve promoted for employees.

  3. Delta 420 from New York JFK to Accra encountered a problem. Its breaks caught fire.

  4. Have you ever wished your job was to blow up fruit inside luggage? I know if I had even fathomed jobs like ‘airport customs’ when I was five this one would be right up there.
