Fare Alert: Europe From Just $250 Roundtrip on American, British Airways

The Flight Deal highlights Miami – Spain (Madrid or Barcelona) starting at $307 roundtrip on American and its partners.

Madrid [MAD] – $312 (ITA will price this at $415, using those dates on Orbitz should reprice to $312 when you click through the confirmation screen)

Barcelona [BCN] – $307

Madrid: Valid for travel from November – early December or January 2019 – March 2019. A 7 day minimum stay is required. Availability is limited. Must purchase at least 28 days in advance of departure

Barcelona: Valid for travel from January 2019 – February 2019. A 7 day minimum stay is required. Availability is limited. Must purchase at least 28 days in advance of departure

These fares have no changes, no cancellations, and no free seat assignments in advance. First checked bag is charged.

Here’s Miami – Barcelona for $307, it’s a $44 fare each way plus taxes and surcharges. That’s hard to beat.

Although Airfare Spot points out that some sites will sell the fare for $249. Some of those sites appear to re-price more expensively when clicking through. However the post got me to playing around and I found that Iberia.com would price at $250:

Meanwhile Secret Flying flags New York – London from $382 roundtrip on British Airways “Availability from November 2018 to February 2019 (excluding Christmas/New Year).”

Much of the availability is American or Finnair codeshares, and this is Basic Economy as well, but a phenomenal price. In fact the base fare is $34 each way, fuel surcharge is $130, and the rest is taxes.

If you do make it to Barcelona watch your wallet on Las Ramblas.
