    PER-LHR is still 500+ miles shorter than EWR-SIN that SQ used to operate, so it may be Qantas’ longest pax flight ever, but it is not *the* longest passenger flight ever.

  2. @Ben, I think he meant to type “their”. AKL-DOH is also longer than the Qantas flight.

  4. I was in a Hilton Hotel restaurant in Sydney having dinner during Earth Hour
    sitting in the darkness
    No one bothered to mention it so I thought it was an emergency or power failure
    No drink was offered that I was made aware of
    Odd event but even so they might consider letting guests no in advance!
    Awkward!
