- The Citi ThankYou® Premier Card is offering a signup bonus again. It’s back with 30,000 points after $3000 spend within your first 3 months of cardmembership.
The card’s $95 annual fee is waived for the first 12 months. It earns triple points on travel including gas stations and double points on dining out and entertainment. Points transfer to a variety of airline frequent flyer programs (or can be used to purchase airfare directly at thankyou.com).
- It was just four months ago that American Airlines CEO Doug Parker claimed the airline would ‘never lose money again’ and would consistently make between $3 billion and $7 billion a year. Yet for 2017 they made a full year net profit of less than $2 billion.

[A]t the infamously thrifty British Airways, it looks like cost-cutting in the cabin cleaning department has taken its toll.
Cabin crew tell us they have been battling with airline bosses for well over a year to get the issue properly addressed. According to our sources, British Airways refuses to fumigate a plane unless crew have seen at least 6-bed bugs visible to the naked eye. They claim many planes are never taken out of service despite multiple injury reports being submitted by both passengers and crew.
