$100 Ritz-Carlton Discount (and Other Amex Rebates You Can Use) Available Via Twitter

I receive compensation for content and many links on this blog. Citibank is an advertising partner of this site, as is American Express, Chase, Barclays and Capital One. Any opinions expressed in this post are my own, and have not been reviewed, approved, or endorsed by my advertising partners. I do not write about all credit cards that are available -- instead focusing on miles, points, and cash back (and currencies that can be converted into the same). A few days ago several blogs wrote about an American Express offer of a $100 statement credit when spending $500 with Ritz-Carlton. That’s great, but the offer was targeted. It wasn’t available in my account.

And I don’t usually write about targeted offers unless they’re noteworthy for some other reason such as indicating testing that a program is doing that may paint the program’s future direction.

Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman

There are great Amex Offers in my account to be sure. After logging in on the American Express website scroll down to the bottom of the page and you’ll see a list of offers. Make sure to expand that list to see everything that’s available. You can sort by category.

In addition to the big Delta offer I wrote about the other day I can get $50 back when spending $250 with MGM Resorts; 3500 bonus Membership Rewards points for spending $300 with Hilton; $60 back when spending $300 with Omni Hotels (and I’ve recently been status matched to GHA Black so this may be useful); and $20 back on $100 spend with La Quinta.. to name a few.

If you’ve synced your twitter account with American Express you can often tweet to register for Amex offers. Each twitter account can be synced with only one American Express card so you may want different twitter accounts, one for each Amex card you have.

Deals We Like says that even though the Ritz-Carlton offer may not show up in your account (as it doesn’t in mine) you can register for this offer via twitter.

This offer IS available via Twitter (#AmexRC). This means you can enroll every single Amex card you have and take advantage of this offer multiple times. It also means you can use other co-branded cards that have the Amex logo (i.e., Bloomingdales, Macy’s, etc.).

  1. Thanks for the tip- we have an upcoming stay at Half Moon Bay and were able to add this to our Platinum.

  2. Why do they make it so much work to get the deals. Sigh. No, I know why. Got to dangle carrot before the horse…
