  2. Good to see SQ whittling the brands down to 3 from 4, but they should really be 2 (merge SilkAir and SQ). I am surprised that Scoot was the surviving brand, because Tiger is more recognized, but I guess the fleets were similar in size.

    Got to sit in the cockpit once for a Kai Tak landing- definitely a highlight of my childhood. They didn’t mention one of the most exciting Kai Tak maneuvers- a go around when the pilot comes in too high. One second you are expecting the wheels to touch down, the next its full throttle and hope that you don’t end up in the harbour!
