GOOD DEAL: 1000 Delta Miles Per New Partner With No Limit Through June 30

Delta has a generous partner promotion, earn miles with a new participating SkyMiles partner between March 24 and June 30 and earn 1000 bonus miles for each one. Registration required.

I’m not a huge fan of SkyMiles but in some cases this might sway me to credit partner activity to a SkyMiles account, and you should register in any case just on the chance that you do.

Earning with this promotion is generous — 1000 miles per new partner. The following kinds of partner activity qualify:

  • credit card partners
  • hotels
  • rental cars
  • car services and shuttles
  • cruises and vacation packages
  • Rewards Network dining
  • retail shopping
  • financial partners

The trick is that you can only earn with ‘new’ partners, but that doesn’t mean partners you’ve never earned with before, it just means partnres with no activity between March 24, 2016 and March 23, 2017.

  1. Awesome! I just checked & the only partner with which I’ve earned SkyMiles since March 24/ 2016 is their Amex! (60K welcome bonus + some spending.) I’ve signed up myself & a few friends whose accounts I manage.

  2. If I read this correctly, transferring one Starpoint to Delta will turn into 1,002 SkyMiles. Not bad!

  3. @Thomas – T&C at SPG says:
Minimum Starpoints needed for transfer: 1500
Maximum Starpoints needed for transfer: 94,999

  4. @ Rene, SPG Platinum members don’t have a minimum needed to transfer. I’ve transferred 2 Starpoints to UA before to keep my account alive.
