Man Makes Most Amazing Somersaults Through Airport to Catch Lufthansa Flight

I’ve always said that if you’ve never missed a flight you’re spending too much time in airports, so I tend to cut it close more often than not. (There are more important flights to make, and flights where the consequences of turning up late are much lower.)

I’ve run through my share of airports to make a flight. I once sprained my foot badly running through New York JFK trying to make an earlier flight, which might have even been worth it had I actually made it to the gate in time but I turned out to be a couple minutes late after arriving off an American Airlines flight from London. Minimum connection times for international to domestic really should account for Global Entry and TSA PreCheck which make it possible to get from one flight to another in far less time than computers will sell you a ticket for. Although not quite as little time as I had that day.

But here’s the most amazing dramatization (complete with Red Bull product placements) of running through the Munich airport to catch a Lufthansa flight.

Ever been late for a flight? Jason Paul uses his jaw-dropping freerunning skills to get through security at the Munich airport to catch his flight in record time.

The Munich airport is ground zero for crazy videos, like this classic.

  1. Maybe Johnny33 could crawl back under a rock, stop reading this site, and stop subjecting us to his stupidity.

  2. Loved the video. Since Johnny33 has an inquiring mind that wants to know, I had a McMuffin and a Mcsomething else as part of a good nutritious breakfast. Oh, and a McCoffee with Mccream. McDonald’s is the only fine dining establishment open all night at the Anchorage (ANC) airport. What did everyone else have for breakfast today?

  3. Greek yogurt and an apple. The apple was kind of tart though but that helped to wake me up as the office coffee pot was extra bland today.

As for the video. I’m sure travelers can relate to being stuck behind slow moving people/lines.

  4. As usual, another misleading title to get clicks. It was staged and not some random person. How about if Gary does the same somersault? That would make for good reading! LOL

  5. I do somersaults off the plane when when I’m at a T gate in Atlanta that’s near the Sky Club that has a Bojangles across from it.

  6. The first comment was a jerk, but I agree with others that the title is misleading and that’s frustrating because I tend to classify this blog (in my mind) as buttoned up and “above” tactics like click-bait.

That said, once I accepted the story was not what I thought it was going to be, it’s a pretty cool and creative video and appreciate you sharing it.

  7. Maybe I could accept that some of you felt betrayed by a misleading title. Except… when you looked at the accompanying photo of the guy mid-air between jet-bridge and open door aircraft (they close the doors before detaching the jet bridge, you know), what exactly were you expecting this article to be?
