1000 Free United Miles (Worth $16, and Extend Your Miles Expiration)

Through June 30 the Prosper Daily app will give you 1000 miles if you download their app. It tracks your spending, but you apparently don’t actually have to given them information on your credit cards or bank accounts to earn the miles.

Free and easy miles are almost always a good idea!

Just go to the offer page, enter your last name, zip code and United MileagePlus number, and submit.

On the next page they will ask your phone number. This is so they can text you a download link for the app. (Downloading from Google Play or the Apple Store doesn’t get you the miles.)

Once you download the app and sign up for an account you’ll be on course for 1000 miles in 6-8 weeks.

I value United miles at 1.6 cents apiece so it’s like a free $16, and of course earning these miles will push out the expiration of your United account balance by 18 months.

To earn miles for this offer, you will need to download the Prosper Daily app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, then register in the app. You can then begin using the app by enrolling to receive your free credit score and connecting the financial accounts you want to track in the app. Download by June 30, 2016 to qualify for the miles offer. Personal loans offered through the Prosper Daily app will not qualify for additional miles.

  4. @Estelle: Try reading the article before you flip out. You don’t need to provide financial info to get the miles, only sign up for the app. Just create a free profile with the app but then don’t link any of your accounts.
