Incredible Airfare Deal: Bali for Just $568 Roundtrip!

Between July and November Virgin Australia is selling Los Angeles – Bali (via Brisbane or Sydney) for $568 roundtrip.

The fare is widely available, and should be bookable on most travel sites:

Here’s a sample itinerary:

It’s a Virgin Australia ‘Q fare’ which earns full elite qualifying miles and 50% redeemable miles when crediting to Delta. It earns 20% flown miles when crediting to Virgin America (which is better than it sounds since Virgin America points are somewhat deflated, I think of 1 Virgin America point as similar to 2 airline miles, in fact business class only earns 80% of flown miles).

  1. Gary, where did you take the top picture? I’m going to Bali for the second time this summer, and that looks interesting.

  2. Well, I’m 62 and will be flying coach to Bali next month via SYD on VA & DL for $461.00. That’s a hella long time along with a 6 hour layover in SYD.

  3. Well, Martin, I wish you the best. I love Bali and really want to return, but I wouldn’t sit in coach that long if they were paying me.

  4. @mbh- most “real people” over the age of 30 fly coach, even long haul transpacific. I do it the majority of time, despite earning over 1M loyalty points a year.

    What an over entitled jerk…

  5. Hey Gary,

I can’t find this price anymore. What site did you use to find it and in general which site do you use?

    Best,

    Ryan
