- Atlantis in the Bahamas will offer 4 free nights to MGM M life Gold members and higher. Hyatt Platinum status matches to MGM Gold. Anyone who gets the Hyatt Visa gets free Hyatt Platinum. Atlantis requires you to complete 6 hours of rated play during the stay, however.

Any idea what it takes to get rated play? If it’s $5/hand or something, that’s not bad; $25/hand for six hours could add up pretty quickly though!

Headline is a bit misleading. The Atlantis promo is referring to casino status, not hotel status.
Considering that most Las Vegas casinos don’t rate your play unless you are betting $25/hand at Black Jack so I don’t think this is a $5/hand for 6 hours offer. It would have been perfect as I was already planning a trip to Atlantis at the end of June.
But guys, remember, Vegas is the top of the pack… Anyone been to Atlantis before? I would assume table minimums are $5, and that they would rate you at that. Regardless, you could tread water on a craps table or backjack that long over a time period of 4 days no problem. Craps you should be able to do things like bet 6 & 8 or just the pass line and 6/8 and tread water for a long time since it’s a slow game. I would say you’d need to be prepared to drop $600 though playing min’s like that. The sucky part would be that you couldn’t necessarily quit when up. Some of you would gamble that long anyway so it might be worth it.
Also agree that craps would be the way to go- pass line with (max) odds to have a chance.
