Passenger Strips Naked, Requests Sex From Flight Attendant. Can You Guess What Happened Next?

A flight was delayed 11 hours after a passenger became unruly, stripped naked, and requested sex from a flight attendant.

This happened last Saturday on a Sun Express flight from Dublin to Izmir.

The man is said to have stripped off shortly after takeoff, before waving his genitals at other passengers.

He is then alleged to have asked a horrified stewardess for sex.

It is reported the man then began to jump on seats, cheered on by his group of friends.

The pilot diverted to Belgrade. Serbian police met the aircraft. The passenger “became abusive to staff on the ground and was arrested and detained until he sobered up.”

A female companion — who apparently was a model of civility on the flight — became abusive to police on the ground and was arrested as well.

The aircraft was on the ground for nine hours before continuing on to Turkey.

Oddly, Dublin doesn’t appear to be a booking option on the Sun Express website. I presume, then, that this was a charter flight. The charters I’ve been on have been rather unruly.

SunExpress is jointly owned by Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines. They have their own frequent flyer program – Sunpoints – and operates predominantly Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Rumor has it the passenger in question lacked elite status in the Sunpoints program and was thus requesting benefits he wasn’t entitled to without ancillary fees.

It amazes me that not everyone has figured out yet that behavior like this isn’t a good idea on an aircraft.

    Sooooo, lemme get this straight…
Sex with a stewardess is INCLUDED if you have elite status in the Sunpoints program?

No wonder airlines make BILLIONS in ancillary fees!
I’ve definitely been flying the wrong airlines.

Your statement makes it seem that behavior like this IS acceptable at other times.
