Hyatt’s Summer Promotion is Out and Everyone’s Earn is Different

Hyatt Gold Passport is running a variety of targeted points-earning promotions, for stays over a four month period: June 1 through September 30 and called “Sweet Dreams Sweet Rewards”

It’s pretty similar to the first quarter’s “Stay More, Play More” offer.

There’s a straightforward 20,000 points after 10 nights (2000 points per night average). And a one night offer at 3000 points.

There’s a 65,000 point bonus offer after 25 nights:

I was targeted for 30,000 points after 15 nights, although I haven’t gotten my email with the offer yet. E-mails started going out this morning and will continue through Wednesday.

Now matter which offer you’re targeted for, you can use the link for ‘stay 25 nights for 65,000 points. You’ll be registered for the offer intended for you. So they’ve got the IT working better than in the past.

Cash and points award nights count, although standard reward nights do not. MGM Mlife stays do not count.

What were you offered?

  1. “An unexpected error has occurred while attempting to process your request. Please try again later. For assistance, please contact Hyatt Gold Passport Customer Service at 1-800-30-HYATT or your nearest Worldwide Reservation Center.”

Wow, what a stunningly lucrative offer…

  2. (I have bupkiss for status with Hyatt, one stay in the past 6 months. Not exactly much incentive to do more- I actually throw a modest amount of business to Hilton.)

  3. I got the same exact response as Eponymous:

“An unexpected error has occurred while attempting to process your request. Please try again later. For assistance, please contact Hyatt Gold Passport Customer Service at 1-800-30-HYATT or your nearest Worldwide Reservation Center.”

  4. Same error as first commenter. No email received from Hyatt at all lately, aside from reservation confirmations.

  5. 3,000 points after 1 eligible stay June 1 – September 30

(no Hyatt stays in 2014 or 2015)

  6. Diamond with 14 stays/23 nights YTD, got the 30k after 15 nights offer with incremental increase up to 60k earn. I’ll probably hit the 15 nights but doubt I’ll stay much more than that…

  7. For wife and self both (no recent stays for either of us):

“An unexpected error has occurred while attempting to process your request. Please try again later. For assistance, please contact Hyatt Gold Passport Customer Service at 1-800-30-HYATT or your nearest Worldwide Reservation Center.”

Looks like SPG or HH for us. Thanks, Hyatt!

  8. Already qualified for 2016 Diamond, got the same offer as you Gary. 15 nights-30K up to 65K for 25 nights, which I will make it. Already made 2016 Platinum with SPG and with the awful promo they rolled out, will focus on Hyatt and fwiw Marriott (I have Gold via United 1K but I find Marriott points useful for mid-road trip family stays at Residence Inn, Spring Hill et al).

  9. If I already have a reservation made for July do I qualify for whatever offer I get? I’m assuming yes but just want to make sure.

  10. even more useless than normal Hyatt offer. many customers only have 5-10 nights planned. does hyatt want that business or would they prefer to throw it to the competition?
SPG is the only chain that has stepped up this summer, so they will be getting my business. just as well seeing as SPG points are most valuable hotel currency.

  11. I just started a 17 night stay in Dallas, chose a Hilton brand mostly because Hyatt House was more expensive and much lower quality. Too bad since I was looking forward to Hyatt stays this trip…

  12. I’ve got a few nights this year, but I’ve gotten the same error message as the first few comments. I’ll check again in a couple days to make sure.

@Nathan – from my experience, you would have to re-book your current reservations if you made them prior to registering for the promotion.

  13. I got this:
    CONGRATULATIONS!
You are registered to earn 30,000 Hyatt Gold Passport® bonus points after your first 15 eligible nights at any Hyatt hotel worldwide and thousands more for every additional five nights you stay with us, up to 25, from June 1 through September 30, 2015.

The more you stay, the more you earn. Stay 25 eligible nights to earn 65,000 bonus points!
