Comment Here for a Chance to Win (A Bunch Of) American Airlines Lounge Passes

Last month I was giving away 25,000 American AAdvantage miles and a whole bunch of lounge passes.

Citibank offered them up to me to share with readers, highlighting their classy move to reach out to American Express Platinum cardholders. Platinum cards no longer offer American or US Airways lounge access, and Citibank is the sole issuer of cards that offer lounge access with the new American Airlines.

Citibank has the most generous credit card signup offer in the market with a 100,000 mile signup bonus for their Executive Card which bundles lounge access.

It turns out that they sent me a whole bunch of extra club passes, more than I needed to fulfill the last contest, so I’m giving the extras away here on the blog!

I am not being compensated by Citibank for highlighting their 100,000 mile bonus or giving away prizes. And as I shared in the original contest post, I am not keeping any of the prizes for myself — so I need your help to take the extra lounge passes off of my hands.

So here’s how you enter.

  • I have several trip report sections on the blog. I have a page of airline reports, of hotel reports, of airline lounges, food, and activities and other quirky things.
  • Visit the airline lounge review page
  • Leave a comment on this blog post. Answer the question, “what is your favorite airline lounge, of those that have been reviewed on this blog?”
  • Enter by Noon on Sunday June 1. That’s 2 days from this writing.
  • Enter as many times as you like, but… You can list any and as many of your favorite lounges as you like, but each entry has to be a lounge I have reviewed on the blog. And if you enter more than once you must say why you like the lounge you’re entering with.
  • Prize winners will be drawn at random. As in past, I will use random.org for the drawing.
  • Fine print. Void where prohibited by law. All of my decisions are final and unappealable, I want to make giveaways as easy as possible and with the fewest headaches possible. Redemption of Admirals Club passes are subject to Admirals Club Terms of Service.

  3. @Anita B – Singapore’s lounges are pretty barren outside of Singapore! The one in Hong Kong doesn’t even have bathrooms… Korean is pretty good in the air, though hope you enjoyed it 🙂

  8. Turkish business class lounge in Istanbul! Sleeping rooms for business class passengers with long transits. They also have lots of fresh iced tea, hot tea and a great coffee bar too.

  10. My favorite lounge is the AA Flagship Lounge at JFK. It’s the calm before the storm for me.

  12. I’ll take the Hugo Junkers Lounge in Dusseldorf. It has been the least crowded and quietest lounge I have been in. Love the German snacks a lot. Plus, I shall be there again in July.

  13. Cathay Pacific The Wing First Class Lounge, Hong Kong — that is a classy lounge for a classy airline.

  14. Concorde Room – Cabanas, London Heathrow since it the only one I have been in.

  16. Of the one’s you’ve reviewed, the AA Arrivals Lounge at LHR is hard to beat. Although I do prefer Virgin’s LHR facilities (both arrivals and departures are phenomenal. Thanks for the contest!

  22. I’m partial to Lufthansa Senator Lounge, Washington Dulles since I’ve been there a bunch myself.

  23. I like the Amex Centurion in DFW. What a great concept to build out high-end lounges in the US!

  24. The American Airlines Arrivals Lounge at LHR because that means I’ve arrived in London!!

  29. The AA lounge at JFK becasue I’d actually be able to use it if I got passes! Based on your reviews I’d like to take a peak in the Centurion lounge some day as well since I mostly fly domestic.

  30. The lounge at Hong Kong of Cathay Pacific, The Wing First Class Lounge, looks amazing!

  31. Luftansa Lounge at Dulles. Behind the same security gate as all the United gates, so you can get good lounge access on domestic United flights.

  37. HK’s Wing Business Class, as you can see and choose the food vs First Class menu-type ordering

  40. Amex Centurion Lounge at DFW. Excellent! More than happy to visit there vs Admirals Club.

  41. I’ve never had the pleasure of visiting a VIP lounge, but the AA Flagship one you wrote about at JFK sounds good to me!

  42. AA LHR Arrivals lounge, for that shower and bacon roll to get your day going.

  43. AA JFK Flagship Lounge, it’s a nice place to chill away from the crowds, and since the attached AA AC can get busy as well. (Wish there were dedicated showers though)

  47. AA ORD Flagship Lounge, though small in size, I like the close proximity to a lot of the international departures at the end of the K concourse.

  48. I guess it’s the Centurion at DFW. It’s the only lounge I’ve been to that you’ve reviewed. I was there last week; it’s OK. I’ve lived on the opposite side of the US until recently, so that probably why.
