$35 Off and 10% Discount on a Hotel Booking Today Only

Update via Mommy Points you can no longer stack the new member signup bonus and the 10% off discount code.

She emails a further explanation,

Travel Pony doesn’t let you stack the 10% with the sign-up $35 on a $200 rez anymore. It’s a use one code situation – though it used to let you stack them both when I signed up, and does still let you stack using the referral credits you earn from others with codes like the 10% FLASHPONY.

Thanks for the clarification!

Hotel booking website TravelPony offers new members a $25 first-time booking credit, but ups that to $35 if you’re referred by an existing member.

So here’s my referral link since you’re better off signing up with it than signing up on the site directly without it. (Feel free to leave your own referral link in the comments, readers are welcome to use mine or a reader’s.)

That $35 credit is stackable with an offer of 10% off to the first 1000 customers booking today using promo code FLASHPONY.

There are some hotels I’ve seen where Travelpony prices hotels higher than other sites, and I’ve also seen hotels where the price is materially lower already. 10% off plus a $35 discount on a hotel that starts off at a lower price than competitor sites is, of course, what you’re looking for and worth it. Always compare pricing between sites when you book.

Here’s my previous discussion of Travelpony.

  1. @Gary – I was wondering if you’ve actually gotten any credit for these referrals? I initially signed up with your referral link and then in turn sent my referral link to many people, two of whom I know for certain made reservations with TravelPony and stayed in the rooms they booked (months ago). I never saw credit for either of them. Hoping it’s a simple oversight and the whole thing is not some sort of scam. Any feedback?

  2. @Jonathan I have gotten (but have not used) referral credits, though I don’t know whose reservations triggered those. If I were you I would definitely get in contact with them about missing credits especially if you can pinpoint individual accounts that should have triggered the credit.

  3. Reservations through travelpony blocks your status with chain hotels like Hilton, SPG etc. Did I get that right?

  4. @caveman third party bookings generally do not count towards accruing elite status (with some exceptions like doubleup rates booked at pointshound). third party bookings don’t entitle to status recognition at Hilton and SPG but do get recognized at Hyatt and Marriott.

  5. You should probably clarify the referral bonuses now require a min $200. Also, you can not stack with the 10% discount.

  6. I was not able to stack the 10% off with your referral code. It only allowed one promo code. Still a great deal. Thanks!
