Free $5 From Amazon

Via Heels First, Amazon will give you $5 for downloading something — anything, even a free item — from their Android App Store through December 28.

You can even be an existing customer of their app store, just update to the latest version of their app. You have to have one-click ordering turned on in order to use the credit. And app store purchases made via Kindle Fire don’t count.

  1. Free $5? As the brother of a guy who’s wife knows a lady who’s cousin once saved $10 on Amazon, I take offense to this post. I demand that you remove it and offer an apology!

  2. @Jonathan – I’m sorry!
@(The other) Jonathan – Great questoin, outside of my realm of expertise to even know what an Android simulator is (though I have a reasonable guess)

  3. fyi, the credit is for app store purchases…the way the email reads, it isn’t towards anything at Amazon.com. Still free $$. Thanks.

  4. @jonathan, yes an emulator will work.

i am not a fan of their appstore app or appstore. just fyi, you have to leave it installed for any apps you get from it to work. apps there don’t get updated as often and can be removed by the developer at any time due to amazon’s policies towards developers.
