Delta used to offer SkyDeli and America West had Snack Sac. On a short flight in coach you’d pick up a bag with food on your way down the jetway. That saved work for the flight attendants and still let the airline feed you.

American Airlines had Bistro Bags. I spotted one of the old carts, not in use since around 2004, at New York JFK late last month.

Air India flies between Pune and Delhi with a mixture of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft. The A321s are single cabin economy flights.

Shiv Sena Member of Parliament Ravindra Gaikwad showed up for one of these flights with an open business class ticket, wanting to take the 7:35am departure to Delhi on a day it was operated by a single cabin A321.

I used to pay a lot of attention to Star Alliance member Aegean, the little Greek airline that could. That’s because I got a status match to Gold status from them back when British Airways bought british midland and they were matching bmi status.

Aegean status used to be lifetime which I thought was great only they decided that lifetime meant something different to them than it did to me.
