Hyatt Award “Sale” This Time On Suites, Hurry and Book

Two weeks ago Hyatt was pricing several hotels below their normal published cash and points award prices. Then at the beginning of the week more hotels were identified offering an unpublished award sale.

Now Extreme Hotel Deals has found premium rooms and suites on sale, some standard reward nights and others cash and points. These are disproportionately — though not exclusively — Hyatt House properties which offer suites anyway where they’re charging less than Hyatt’s award chart would lead you to expect.

Here are the deals available right now:

Hotel Price Room
Hyatt House Chicago/Naperville/Warrenville 2500 points + $50 One Bedroom Suite
Hyatt Place St Petersburg Florida 2500 points +$50 One Bedroom Suite 700 sq ft
Hyatt House Washington DC/The Wharf 4000 points + $55 One Bedroom Suite 468 sq ft
Hyatt House Denver Airport 4000 points + $55 Two Bedroom, Two Bathroom King Suite
Hyatt Place Houston-Northwest / Cy-Fair Texas 4000 points + $55 One Bedroom Suite 540 sq ft
Hyatt House Bridgewater New Jersey 8000 points One Bedroom Conference Suite
Hyatt Place Pittsburgh South/Meadows Racetrack 4000 points + $55 King One Bedroom Suite w Sofa Bed 670 sq ft
Hyatt House Pleasant Hill California 4000 points + $55 King One Bedroom Suite
Hyatt Place Lubbock Texas 4000 points + $55 King Bedroom Suite 695 sq ft
Hyatt Place Chicago/Midway Airport 4000 points + $55 King One Bedroom Suite with Sofa bed 675 sq ft
Hyatt Place New York/Yonkers 6000 points + $75 King One Bedroom Suite with Sofa bed 388 sq ft
Hyatt House Seattle/Downtown 6000 points + $75 Two Queen Kitchen Suite
Hyatt House Miami Airport 6000 points + $75 Two Bedroom, Two Bathroom Suite
Hyatt House Boston/Waltham 12000 points One Bedroom Double-Double

This is a great sale though in any given case always compare to the paid rates at a property. In general I’ve seen Hyatt honor these, though as always it’s possible a property might get seller’s remorse so it’s a good idea not to make non-refundable travel plans around the booking for a few days to make sure everything remains intact.

  1. Points plus cash at those properties are all equal to their normal values. Hyatt House/Place are all-suite properties.

  2. Yes, same price but there were some larger rooms that Hyatt typically does not offer award redemption (or points + cash) on. Seems gone now and maybe more of a glitch than sale and not the first time I’ve seen larger rooms offered for points.
