EVA Air’s Bold Vision With Their New Safety Video Was to Create Actual Art

Star Alliance member EVA Air is out with a new safety video that they say took three months of planning and rehearsing — and which they view as art (“EVA Makes Inflight Safety a Work of Art”).

Director Robin Lee “described her vision for the video as a transition in space from the confined aircraft cabin to the globe and its vast possibilities.” Meanwhile “Bulareyaung, a member of Taiwan’s indigenous Paiwan community, created choreography that embraces new technologies and alternative art forms.”

Although as Dennis Miller once said, “One man’s Voltaire is another man’s Screech.” Which one is it to you?

  1. Very creative! Garry usually covers EVA news better that other bloggers would have missed. Keep going.

  2. I dont think everything in this safety video is new.

I believe the same choreography is already available when I flew EVA last Nov on BKK-TPE and TPE-JFK.

Even the music is the same.

What looks new are graphic design/CGI effects.
