  1. Starbucks reward program is the worst. My points generally expire, which makes me hate Starbcuks more and more. They really should fix their crappy program.

  2. Not sure that the piece about how cheap air travel is today is entirely accurate. I remember flying ORD-LAN to go to undergrad. UA Flt. 648 in 1967 was a DC-6. I flew A class (the only prop class) for $9.85 student standby, and had a choice of steak or lobster for dinner.

    In 1968, I went ORD-DTW to visit my fiancée, and flew AA in F on a DC-8 for $20.00 each way.

    These are nowhere near the numbers in the article.
