Via Live and Let’s Fly Canadian discounter Air Transat is offering roundtrip business class flights from Canada to Europe starting at $722. Fly coach for as little as $141.
Fares are available, for instance, Montreal – Paris and Toronto – London.
- Travel permitted November 1 through December 16
- Saturday night stay required
- Refunds appear to be permitted for $300 penalty up to 24 hours prior to departure
- Change penalty is $200 with no changes permitted within 24 hours of travel

This certainly won’t last. Just in case the airline decides they want to renege on such a deep discount offer, a case of seller’s remorse, I’d wait awhile after buying tickets before making additional non-refundable travel plans around the fare.
And bear in mind that Air Transat’s business class is angled, not a fully flat seat and of course US residents have positioning flights to and from Canada.
These are the guys that left two planes in Ottawa for hours, full of people, without Air Conditioning, water, food or the ability to get off (escape). There was such a furor in the aftermath the Canadian Government called a special commission to examine it.
I’m sorry, but I wouldn’t call that business class. I’d call it “business class.” I’ve been on Soviet-era planes that were more comfortable.
This plane is more like the Norwegian front of the plane. It’s really premium economy, not J class.
