  1. Watched the Aviator card commercial twice on the IFE system before my selection began. Then had to endure similar stupid sales pitch live. My guess is FAs get a spiff for hawking the card. Shameless blatant sales pitch to squeeze even more money from passengers (Barclay’s Bank pays AA for those bonus miles). I was shocked when they offered to pick up the completed applications to mail for us. Right!, I’m going to give a stranger (other than the bank) my personal information including social security number. Getting really sick of these sales pitches. How about a better product AA, that might bring in more money?
