Frontier Airlines, remade in the image of Spirit, has its share of bizarre policies and even stranger passengers. A monkey got loose on a flight to Las Vegas. A woman kicked at the cockpit of her flight and stripped naked.
Two passengers, Eric and Whitney Miller, were frustrated by an incredibly long flight delay on Wednesday. They were talking to each other, but a flight attendant heard the conversation and decided she felt threatened — so had them removed from the plane. They wait 8 hours to finally go, they’re annoyed, so when it’s time they’re not allowed to fly.

The 70 year old man and his daughter claim they just said that the flight attendants seemed just as miserable about the delay as they felt. The airline says they were ‘shouting profanities at staff members.’ And their flight attendants don’t make mistakes,
Our Flight Attendants are customer service and safety professionals who are trained to recognize situations that may impact comfort and safety of passengers and crew onboard our aircraft.
I say it’s bad enough to fly Frontier, but Frontier delayed 8 hours would make anyone shout profanities, even though the passengers deny it. They say they didn’t realize a flight attendant was behind them listening. That’s when the altercation began,
They would lean over the back of the chair in front of us, get their face right up to here and they would simply ask, ‘Do we have a problem?'” Eric Miller said.
“It was, ‘No, do you have a problem? Do you want to be removed from the aircraft?’ We responded, ‘No.’ We didn’t know what was going on, what’s happening. Please tell us what’s happening,” Whitney Miller said.
Another passenger Jocelyn Praia Gonzalez, watching this situation unfold, writes “A stewardess felt threatened after ‘overhearing’ a conversation between this daughter and father just trying to get back after we all sat for a 9 hour delay.” She took video of the altercation and passengers being removed.
Frontier Airlines doesn’t start with a great reputation for customer service, and that weighs on any opinion about how the altercation went down. This is the airline that kicked off a blind man in June because he’d be a liability in an emergency.
