HUMOR: Airbus Responds to Boeing’s 787 Sky Art

Yesterday I covered the spectacular art Boeing pulled off with a Boeing 787 — drawing a 787 in the sky with the route that it flew.

It’s not the first time they’ve done this.

And other pilots have gotten even more creative.

With all the buzz that Boeing generated from their spectacular 787 display, [a]t 1:00 pm an Airbus A350 took off at Toulouse Airport and flew around France for 10 hours to draw this sky euhh … art ….

If only this were real…

  1. I was going to say… doing the 2nd lap to provide the illusion of depth would have shown some real commitment.

  2. Hate to say it, but I knew the Airbus one is a fake – the giveaway was that it was a 10 hour flight – everyone knows that French employees can’t work more than 7 hours a day…
