Etihad A380 First Class Paid Ticket for Under $2000

Roundtrip first class fares between Lahore or Karachi, Pakistan and New York JFK are widely available for travel on Etihad — including Etihad’s Airbus A380 First Class Apartment — for less than $3500.

Here’s a sample roundtrip:

One-way fares between Pakistan and New York are available in first class for less than $2000.

There’s no minimum stay on the roundtrip fares. There’s no advance purchase. And the fares are refundable.

American Airlines codeshares are being sold much less expensively than Etihad sells their own flights for.

You’ll want to fly Etihad’s Airbus A380 and not their Boeing 777 between Abu Dhabi and the US. The fare is valid for either aircraft (and starting June 1, both daily Abu Dhabi – New York flights will be operated by A380s).

Indeed Etihad has the world’s best first class on their Airbus A380.

American Airlines codeshares operated by Etihad earn in AAdvantage like an American Airlines flight. This fare earns double elite qualifying miles, and redeemable miles as well as (for travel January 1 onward) elite qualifying dollars based on the fare itself.

This is expensive, of course, but it’s closer to what you’d expect for a reasonable business fare than a first class fare. I’ve already shared it with a friend whose family lives in Lahore and comes to the US often.

  1. Yeah right, good luck if your aren’t kidnapped by a Paki Taliban or another terror group before you make it to the airport

  2. Nice fare, but who wants a one-way flight to Pakistan??? Not sure I’d take advantage if they paid me.

  3. Why would anyone want to fly on one of those carriers? No wonder they have to give away the product, undercut reputable carriers and take on your award bookings.

Gary likes flying them to eat treif and visit Islamic cultural centers in concrete jungles.

  4. @Josh G: Hey bigot, go back to commenting on Fox News articles. Eating non-kosher food and learning about other cultures sounds pretty good to me.

  5. I was able to get a $2,900 fare BKK to JFK on Etihad – one way…Business Class BKK-AUH, 20 hour layover, which I wanted and then onwards to JFK in F on A380. Not as low as above example but BKK possibly a more desirable starting point to some.

  6. @Josh: I don’t think think you’ve insulted Gary by accusing of eating non-Kosher food .
Thanks for keeping Yiddish alive, though.
