Rapper 50 Cent, more known these days for his body spray and condom endorsement deal than the music he pioneered with Eminem and Dr. Dre — as well as a pump and dump stock scheme and the excellent TV drama Power — videotaped himself mocking an airport employee that he assumed was high.
“What’s your name?” the rapper, whose birth name is Curtis Jackson, asks the worker in a video he posted to Instagram and Twitter. The worker just shakes his head and keeps working.
“Look at him. What kinda sh*t you think he took before he came to work today? He high as a motherf****a right here in the airport,” 50 Cent said.
The focus of Mr. Cent’s ire was quickly identified on social media.
I went to school with him. His name is Andrew Farrell. He has extreme social difficulties just to let you know. He has a hard enough time getting through life without jackasses like you making fun of him. I hope you feel good about yourself. You just lost a huge fan.
The Cincinnati airport janitor is autistic and hearing impaired.
The video, naturally, is ‘NSFW’:
The man’s parents want an apology. And $1 million, oddly enough to be sent via GoFundme. (I do not think his parents understand interchange fees.)
