Comments

  1. Since you have to transfer the full amount to AirBerlin to book, then won’t you be stuck with miles in the programs, unless it is one you already use?

  2. It takes 15K miles to redeem a domestic one way on AA. It might be a good alternative to avios. I would initially transfer 1500 miles from SPG, book the ticket and get 7500 miles back. Afterwards, I only need to transfer 7500 miles each time I book a domestic ticket, and repeat as many times until the end of the year.

    Would this work?

  3. Would have been nice, but terms prohibit partner redemptions:

This promotion is valid only for award flights marketed and operated by airberlin (AB code) or NIKI (HG code).
