Paris Business Class Deal is Back!! $1167 Roundtrip from New York

Yesterday New York – Paris business class flights were available for less than $1000 roundtrip.

That deal died, but if you will restrict yourself to flying British Airways business class OpenSkies flights between Newark and Paris-Orly (the closer-in airport) you can still do almost as well, no requirement for two passengers to travel together.

Note that there are sporadic days where British Airways codeshares for American’s New York JFK – Paris non-stop flights are available at this pricing as well, for those who would prefer not to use Newark (e.g. if you want to connect on a separate ticket using American flights — American allows through-checking of bags on separate tickets within the oneworld alliance and will protect you during irregular operations when traveling from their flights onto another oneworld flight).

  1. The excellent availability and validity through October make this deal one to take advantage of, over and over again 😉

If only one could get the AA bonus EQP while using the BA discounts. If anyone knows of a way to do that, please let me know!

  2. Free seat reservations with Oneworld status (not at booking; you have to go back in later to get them for free).

  3. I am not sure how to get the AARP discount and BA Visa Signature 10% discount. Any ideas? Each discount has a separate entry to BA.com.

  4. go through the link above, verify AARP membership, choose flights, then enter promo code. BA open skies flights will already have the $400 discount applied. book each ticket individually this way.

  5. I have tried every possible way to get t his fare but its not working. If I use the AARP portal the fares are 999 one way, lowest, and that already reflects the $400 discount on RT. The best I can get is about $1600 RT, with the 10% discount added in. I can’t find the chart portrayed in your post here. How does one actually get this fare? I followed your other post for directions but same problem, no fares at 1697 before the discounts.

  6. sadly, i do not have status with oneworld. i wonder if there is any other way to choose seats without having to pay the $98 fee for each seat. either way, i got in for 2 tickets – awesome deal – thank you!

  7. Can you credit OpenSkies operated flights from JFK to ORY that are marketed by BA with BA flight numbers (BA8006) to AS? The Mileage Plan website makes me think no, but I read a Flyertalk thread that made me think it would be possible. Thanks for your help.

  8. Booked the tickets last night for a nice week to CDG at the end of the summer. Thanks!!!! for posting. Since we live in LI we perfer to use JFK and there were seats available. BUT since they are AA flights they don’t allow the 10% disount with the BA credit card. But $2599 for two is still a bargain. Deal is still there as of this morning.

Thanks again for the good work.

  9. @Gary, yes it is specific as to the flight numbers, and BA8006 falls in that range. However, my confusion lies in the phrase immediately above the range of flight numbers that states, “…your flight must be marketed and operated by British Airways.” So in reading that, I came to the conclusion that the flight, while in the proper flight number range, was not eligible. However, this flyer talk thread (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/alaska-airlines-mileage-plan/1543852-credit-ba-open-skies-flight-mileage-plan.html) made me question that conclusion. Thanks, again, for your help.
