TONIGHT ONLY: Buy a $1 Gift Card, Make $20, Plus How to Scale It and Make Even More

New TopCashBack members (only) can buy any gift card priced at $1 or more and get $20 cash back.

…purchase any gift card priced at $1 or more and within seven days $20 cashback will have posted in your TopCashback account. Shipping’s free.

That’s effectively a $20 saving on anything you want at a retailer of your choice. If you’re super-savvy and buy a card for somewhere that costs more than $1 but less than $20, you could even be in profit.

From apparel stores such as Macy’s, Gap, Kohl’s, Old Navy, (even) Gucci, Century 21 and TJ Maxx to home and garden retailers such as Lowe’s, Home Depot, Sears and Yankee Candle; there’s an enormous choice available to utilize the free $20 credit. Pet owners might opt to treat their pal at Petco or PetSmart whereas parents might lean towards picking a gift card from ToysRUs or Buy Buy Baby. You could even get effectively free groceries from Whole Foods, WalMart or Kroger.

Snap-up a gift card for a restaurant such as Bonefish Grill, Applebee’s, Outback, Red Lobster, TGI Friday’s or Papa John’s and it’ll be proof that the saying “there’s no such thing as a free lunch” isn’t quite true.

Here’s How to Scale This: This is my referral link. Once you join and make your $1+ purchase, refer everyone you know — even people who live with you — to TopCashBack. Then they do the deal making a net of $19 apiece, and for everyone that does it you’ll get $10.

This is explicitly encouraged:

TopCashback doesn’t limit accounts to one per household, if you’re an existing member now’s the perfect time to tell your husband or wife, mom or dad, roommate, neighbor, co-worker or anyone else about TopCashback and perhaps they’ll share their freebie with you. Remember; get them to sign-up through your Tell-A-Friend link and you’ll earn $10 for each new TopCashback member who takes out this deal.

  1. So I have 20ish email addresses…can I sign them all up with the same name and address?

  2. The thing is….. one has to “Visit gift card marketplace Raise through TopCashback” (it appears that this phrase is replaced by the “…” in the original post) and then buy gift card from that marketplace, which seems to be quite some hassle–what you find depends on what other people sell, and the website seems to not offerng any easy way to allow you sort all gift cards by price (instead one has to choose a particular merchant first, and sort within that merchant according to the sale price). After searching tens of merchants, I still haven’t found a single card sold at less than $15….. I cannot speak for the others, but it seem to me a lot of work for making <$5…..
