Some Guy Built a Real Flying Model Airbus A380. There’s Only Three Problems…

While I’m posting videos on Sunday evening, here’s one courtesy of @phil_muller of an incredibly impressive model of a Singapore Airlines A380.

This thing flies! There are only two things wrong with it.

Here’s the rub:

  1. There’s no suites class onboard.
  2. No award inventory, either.
  3. And you cannot Book the Cook.

Other than that, awesome!

  1. I don’t impress easily, but this is really cool. The fact that they made 4 miniture working jet engines and retractable landing gear is really cool. It must have working brakes as well.

Someone put a lot of work and $ into this. The guy flying it is pretty skilled too.

  2. Old or not, I saw this yesterday and thought you’d love it. Looks like this “event” is in Germany and the owner of this is a German guy, hence a Singapore livery rather than a Lufthansa is the thing that stood out for me.
