3000 Mile First-Time Hotel Booking Bonus Extended Through October 10

Rocketmiles is a hotel booking site with a limited number of hotels and in a limited – but growing – number of cities. It rebates you a potentially large number of miles for your reservations. (You generally won’t earn hotel points for your stays booked through the site.)

You get to choose whose miles you want to earn for your stays.

In addition to the standard bonus they are now offering a 3000 mile bonus in your choice of mileage program for completing your first booking by October 10.

Key terms:

This offer is strictly limited to new Rocketmiles customers only. To be eligible for this promotion, the hotel reservation must be booked with Rocketmiles using this promotional link (www.rocketmiles.com/bonus-3k) before 11:59PM CT on 10 October 2014.

Limit one per customer. Limit one per stay. Promotional offer cannot be applied to existing bookings or retroactively applied to bookings not made using the link above. This promotional offer cannot be combined with any other offers, including a sign-up from referral bonus…

You must book through this link to earn the bonus, and since the offer isn’t combinable with other bonuses it means that you will not also get the 1000 mile first-time booking bonus for being referred by an existing member (although there’s no reason not to sign up with a referral, doing so will not prevent you from earning this bonus).

This is definitely better than free beer.

Always compare hotel rates for the specific property between Rocketmiles and the best available rate on other sites. I’ve seen rates that are both higher and lower, though most often they seem to be the same.

  1. I’m seeing that Rocketmiles has both BA Avios and Avios Travel Rewards on their Mileage Partner List. Have they always been on the List?

Additionally, their listings of available hotels with mileage awards seems to vary when accessing their site in different ways (ex: via your Link vs. directly). I wonder why that would be (completely aside from the “bonus” aspect)?
