I keep finding more unpublished rewards for my Amex Platinum Card. I charged a cruise on Oceania for me and my wife, and received an extra $300 shipboard credit, plus a complementary wine tasting and bottle of wine, all complements of Amex.

Just got upgraded last week to a two-room suite with the much maligned IHG Platinum status.
I suspect Gary’s advertisers (or some other ‘blog traffic metric’) measures “average comments per post” or something. So he can pay a hundred bucks to drive his revenue in some other regard.

after getting serious with points/miles game last august, we completed 5 trips and have scheduled 2 more. All international.
My wife and I both just got the US Airways card for the second time. Can’t wait for them to turn into AA miles.
