Has a New Greatest Safety Demonstration Ever Just Been Crowned?

Just a month ago I shared the Greatest Onboard Safety Demonstrations. Ever.

And in a very short span of time the four greatest attempts may have been surpassed.

Now, two of the four best were from Southwest Airlines flights. No surprise there.

So if all that’s happened is that the four best have now rounded out to five, it should come as no surprise that the fifth and newest inductee also comes from a Southwest flight from this past week. It’s great.

“The disco lights on the floor shall lead you to the exits”

“It is a life vest, not a toilet seat cover.”

“What I noticed during the boarding process, an awful lot of you need a little fashion consultation.” (And he’s wearing tennis shoes, shorts, and a button down shirt with American flag tie.)

“It’s $2200 for tampering with the smoke detector in the lavatory. And you know if you had $2200 you’d be on United Airlines in first class..”

Watch the whole thing, it ends well:

  1. Could not see the end of this and the next one. As you can see you have been censored by Amtrak:

  2. @steve – It’s the YouTube embed that’s blocking the page. Amtrak blocks all streaming video services on the free WiFI, including the YouTube video embedded here. It’s not censorship, it’s bandwith preservation.

  3. I’ve had this FA before and it was a great routine. Upon taxiing to the gate after landing, he said, “don’t un-buckle that seat belt, don’t do it, I don’t want to see you touch…*bing* (signaling arrival to gate)…get out, now!”

    It was a nice bit.

  4. Hysterical. I loved it. I’m nearly at the point of dumping Delta and its pathetic Skymiles and crossing the darkside to Southwest.

  5. Had him a month ago and it was a Fri night flight so the mood was perfect for his routine. He made a mean cocktail as well.
