When mistakes happen “to infinity” you know it’s bad…!

DFW – PVG Schedule Error

Be advised that American Airlines flight 127 DFWPVG and 128 PVGDFW were cancelled in error with our most recent schedule change on May 4, 2014. The flights will be reinstated on Sunday, May 11, 2014.

American will reinstate the flights following the reloading of the flight schedules.

Flights impacted are:

  • Flight 127 DFWPVG departing on Tuesdays and Thursdays from August 17, 2014 through infinity
  • Flight 128 PVGDFW departing on Wednesday and Fridays from August 19, 2014 through infinity

Please do not cancel 127/128 WK segments in the passenger itinerary until the replacement segment has been added. American will reaccommodate the flight(s) in the original inventory. Please check your schedule change queue from May 4th notification.

The agency is responsible to reissue the ticket as a normal schedule change procedure. Indicate in the endorsement box: “DFWPVG REINSTATE”.

  1. LOL. I was booked on this flight last week and noticed the cancelation. Called agent had no idea why, re-accommodated via LAX and had to call today to be put back on the original flight.

  2. I had booked a return flight from PVG via DFW to LGA for 2014 Jan. I was actually surprised to received an email telling me about the schedule change that my flight is rerouted via ORD. Time-wise, the new route is better, as I can stay in Shanghai for one extra hour with family and arrive in NYC half an hour earlier in the late evening. Miles-wise, it earns me 1000 less miles.

  3. As “bad” as this is, it is probably nothing more than a fat-finger error. Just a high-profile on at that. 🙂
