1500 Mile American Airlines Shopping Portal Bonus

The American AAdvantage shopping portal has another bonus running, this time for up to 1500 miles based on spend through February 14.

Thanks to Pizza in Motion for sharing this.

You’ll earn as follows:

$150 in collective spending on the AAdvantage eshopping portal earns a 500 mile bonus.
$300 in collective spending on the AAdvantage eshopping portal earns a 1,000 mile bonus.
$450 in collective spending on the AAdvantage eshopping portal earns a 1,500 mile bonus.

No registration is required.

Back in November they ran a 2500 point bonus. Those points posted for me earlier in the month:

While the company that runs the shopping portal doesn’t always show the love with customer service, as long as points from transactions do post (and my luck has been good), the bonus itself should post as well.

  1. Cartera is awful to deal with and very bad at posting miles. Any real mileage nerd who values his or her own time should stop wasting time on anything but the Chase UR portal. 500 miles do not pay for even 15 minutes of time wasted on dealing with the clowns at Cartera – this is coming from someone who clears cookies before logging in and does everything by the book.

  2. I am genuinely shocked that the 1,500 miles from the previous promotion have actually posted. Who would have thunk it? Must have been a computer glitch. 😉

  3. WOULD NOT TOUCH THIS WITH A 10 FOOT POLE

STILL WAITING FOR 2400 MILES FROM A PURCHASE LAST FALL

THEY HAVE PROMISED THEM TO POST FOR 2 MONTHS

    NEVER AGAIN!!

  4. Agreed. I am due 2500 miles from the Fall promotion and have only received 1500. I have tried communicating with customer service regarding the issue, but they have given me the royal run-around.
My advice is if you intend to take advantage of this, is to take screenshots of EVERY transaction and the miles you are to receive. PLUS stay on top of the vendors and do not forgive ANY late postings. If it has been over 2.5 weeks since your transaction and you have not recieved your miles from the vendor, pester and continue to pester Cartera.
