Not the outcome I had wished for. 🙁
The first upside I see to this is that my Firm may add additional “preferred” airlines into our program now that we’re effectively losing one (2 becoming 1), so perhaps we’ll get a JetBlue or Virgin America to start trying out.
Any ideas when we will see US pulling out of Star Alliance by?
Well, now I’ve got to decide between UA or DL for domestic flying.
According to USAirways and American’s websites, it will be done next month.
I hope this does mean I cant book one more 90K NA award.
