50% Off 2-Day Sale on W Hotel Beds and Bedding (Lowest Prices in Years)

The W Hotel Store is running a 50% off sale on beds and sheets with promo code CD3M7.

I purchased a W Hotels bed in March 2007 using a 40% off code, so back before the May 2010 price increase on beds. My cost then was about what’s being offered with this sale.

There are still rare occasion when 40% off discounts that pop up. But 35% is the usual discount that comes along every few months. I haven’t seen an offer at this price in over three years.

I’ve found mine to have been a good purchase. I chose the ‘plush top’ rather than pillow top mattress, and added a feather bed. It’s lasted wonderfully, though I’ve since changed out the feather bed. (There are reports that the pillow top version won’t last as long, that it has a ‘memory’ or rather it wears out more quickly.)

In my experience W Hotel Store purchases post as double points earning when paying with a Starwood Preferred Guest American Express.

  1. Interesting — but the code doesn’t seem to work. At least for me. I used the 35% off code that you provided last week (thanks for that!) But in trying to go back and now use the 50% off code that you supplied for another purchase, the discount doesn’t show up. Was this possibly a targeted promotion?

  2. In case anyone’s wondering, the coupon isn’t applicable on the featherbed. Probably time to change my mattress… Was planning on getting Tempurpedic but $800 sounds nice.

  3. This might only work on the more expensive Signature Extreme Bed – offered only in Queen and King sizes.

  4. Bought Queen Plush set on the 40% in August.
Would have saved $138 if I somehow waited for this. 🙁

  5. @Ed – this works on regular mattresses as well. Put a Queen Plush Top ($1599) in a cart and it took 50% off. No-go on a featherbed and maybe some other accessories.

  6. On the The W Bed Mattress
Plush Top Set, it’s taking 50% off – king is $885…is it worth it people?

  7. @Gene my guess is not really 48 hours, I haven’t seen it defined in t&c, I posted right after I got the email… I think we’re safe through Tuesday evening at a minimum

  8. @Mike — thanks! Funny, I was trying to purchase the featherbed, too. That must be it; it’s technically “beds and sheets” not all “bedding.” Oh, well. The 35% discount still worked. Thanks for catching the semantics — I was stymied.

  9. Anybody know if the delivery company will haul away your old mattress? If not what the heck does one do with a used king-sized mattress?

  10. I got one, thanks for heads up! (One of the other BA bloggers forgot to have the link on his page)

Always wanted to try a hotel bed and $1,100 off made it palatable.

  11. You can pay GoodWill or Salvation Army to take your old Mattress for $20. Course you still have to get it there…
