Gary, how does AA status help you as a DC flyer? You mentioned in the article wanting US Airways status which makes sense, but how does getting AA status/miles help you with US Airways?
@Askia two separate things, I may go for US Airways status (probably do trial preferred/challenge to Platinum or some such) and then fly AA for longer stuff. I give up all those United non-stops from Dulles but I hate Dulles anyway and it’s a real schlepp for me in any case. I almost prefer to connect.
